NOTES: Originally built as a department store for the tailors Goldman & Salatsch, this commercial and residential block has experienced different uses, latterly as a bank. The design of this chair was adapted in 1901 by Adolf Loos from an earlier version by the English firm Hampton & Sons at the end of the 19th century.
