NOTES:
This prefabricated sheet steel and aluminium tropical house was originally erected in Brazzaville (Democratic Republic of the Congo) in 1951. Here is a demonstration of its construction, which was published in the Architectural Review in March 1952. In 2008 it was restored and erected outside Tate Modern in London as part of an exhibition on Prouve then held at the Design Museum.
