NOTES: The Merrion Centre was described by the Architect's Journal as Britain's biggest site development in 1964. It comprised the largest multi-storey car park in the country and the biggest one floor bowling alley in Europe. Included were offices, a hotel, clubs, restaurants, a cinema and a shopping centre linked by a pedestrian way.
