NOTES: The design of this cinema was the result of a revision of the Roland Satchwell scheme by Harry Weedon. This cinema was modernized in c.1960 and was tripled in 1973. It closed in 1991 and was saved from dereliction by a local entrepreneur Peter Boizot who purchased it in 1997. He had the building adapted by the architect Tim Foster to include an art gallery and restaurant. It reopened as Broadway in 2001.
