Odeon cinema, St Peters Street, Derby: the barrel-vaulted auditorium after modernization

NOTES: Built originally in 1914 as the White Hall, this building was taken over by the ABC cinema chain in 1929. It closed for modernization when acquired by Odeon and reopened in 1935. It closed as a cinema in 1965 and was demolished to make way for British Home Stores, opened in 2004.
