NOTES: The King's Entrance was partly destroyed by fire in 1834 and this lithograph shows the state of the gateway in 1835. This was one of three lithographs published by Thomas L. Walker and drawn by his pupil, Samuel Russell, showing the state of Parliamentary buildings after the fire (Gentleman's Magazine, 1835, vol. 4, p. 414).
