NOTES: Built for the senator Carlo Ruini in 1572 and known as Palazzo Ruini, the design of this building was probably by Andrea Palladio. It was completed in 1584, with substantial modifications, by Domenico Tibaldi. It became known as Palazzo Ranuzzi when it was sold in 1680 to Marc'Antonio Ranuzzi, who commissioned new works and completed the interior decoration. It was acquired by the local government in 1870 and became the seat of the law courts.
