NOTES: This small fisherman's cottage right on the quayside at Portmeirion dates back to the 18th century. Williams-Ellis used it as a workshop for weaving and dyeing but decided to alter the one-room cottage adding 2 bedrooms raised on arches as an extension. This 1957 design is not the cottage as extended in 1966. The cottage was listed Grade II in 1977.
