NOTES: The Priory, which dates from the 13th century, was refurbished and restored by the architects Seely & Paget, when in 1959 the south wing of The Priory was demolished and they built the new public library on the site (1961). The Bromley Museum opened in the restored Priory in 1965. This image was taken before the restoration.
