NOTES: The club was housed in Barn Elms from 1884 to 1939, originally the mansion of Sir Francis Walsingham (remodelled in 1694 and 1771). The house was demolished in 1954. Over the mantelpiece is a wax model of the 1678 duel between the Duke of Buckingham and the Earl of Shrewsbury at Barn Elms.
