Notes NOTES: The Royal Insurance building was built for the Liverpool & London and Globe Insurance by J. Macvicar Anderson in 1905. It was extensively refurbished in 1978-1979 by Howard Lobb, Ratcliffe, Leather & Partners, with the office interiors by Nicholas Lyell. See RIBA110737 for a black and white version of ths image.
