NOTES: During the mid-1950s, Victor Rothschild commissioned his friends, Richard Llewelyn-Davies and John Weeks, to redesign the core of the old village of Rushbrooke at the centre of his East Anglian farming estate. The redevelopment, consisting of cottages for rural workers and a clubhouse, was carried out in three phases. The second phase was completed in 1959.
