NOTES: This steel-framed building was designed by the Chicago architect, Daniel Burnham. It was built in phases with the collaboration of R. F. Atkinson and T. S Tait of Sir John Burnet & Son. The clock dates from 1931, while the centre bay of the main facade was completed in 1928.
