NOTES: Lord Hill's Column was designed by Edward Haycock in 1814-1816 with alterations to the pedestal by Thomas Harrison. It commemorates Lord Hill who had been a commander in the Peninsular War. His statue of Coade stone is by Joseph Panzetta.
