NOTES: The silver caduceus was presented to Denys Lasdun, as his Ambassador's Award by Princess Margaret at the Royal College of Physicians, when the building was opened by the Queen in 1964. The pin has the date 1868, with an inscription in Greek, encircling an image of the old Royal College of Physicians, which stood near Trafalgar Square. The caduceus is hallmarked.
