NOTES: Built in 1020, this Romanesque cathedral was altered internally in Baroque style in the 17th and 18th centuries. The Romanesque chandelier was donated Bishop Hezilo in 1061. The cathedral was completely destroyed by Allied aerial bombing on 22 March 1945 during World War II. It was rebuilt faithful to the original Romanesque design in 1950-1960.
