NOTES: The church dates back to 1065, renovated and expanded 1180-1250, it underwent a major transformation in the 18th century. The dome and Baroque facade were added 1711-1716 by Valentino Pezani, Joseph Griesing and Johann Dientzenhofer. From 1725 the interior was also re-ordered by Johann Baptist Zimmerman with stucco and frescoes by his brother Dominikus Zimmermann. The church was badly damaged during the Second World War and the interior subsequently restored. The pulpit is by Johann van der Auwera.
