NOTES: The church dates back to 1065, renovated and expanded 1180-1250, it underwent a major transformation in the 18th century. The dome and Baroque facade were added 1711-1716 by Valentino Pezani, Joseph Griesing and Johann Dientzenhofer. From 1725 the interior was also re-ordered by Johann Baptist Zimmerman with stucco and frescoes by his brother Dominikus Zimmermann. The church was badly damaged during the Second World War and the interior subsequently restored.
