Notes NOTES: This drawing was prepared for a project at the School of Architecture, University of Liverpool. Probably inspired by Lutyens' design for the High Altar of his Roman Catholic cathedral for Liverpool where he planned the High Altar to be 12 feet (4 metres) above the nave floor. His designs were in the news in 1933 as the foundation stone for the crypt was laid in June of that year.
