NOTES: The survey drawings were made in the office of Robert Mylne before repair work began following the disastrous fire of 1779. This drawing is attributed to James Donaldson, Mylne's clerk, on the grounds of similarity between the inscription and a contemporary letter in the Public Record Office signed by Donaldson.
