NOTES: This extension for shipyard workers was constructed on a small site between an existing building and a railway, which restricted the size of both the canteens and the kitchens. It housed on the ground floor a hall, dressing-rooms and lavatories for men and women, and extensive air-raid shelters, on the first floor a canteen and large kitchen and on the second floor a second canteen and a smaller kitchen.
