The Monument, junction of Monument Street and Fish Street Hill, City of London: the bas-relief sculpture by Caius Gabriel Cibber on the west panel of the pedestal

NOTES: The Monument, a colossal Doric column, stands at the junction of Monument Street and Fish Street Hill. It was built between 1671 and 1677 to commemorate the Great Fire of London of 1666, and to celebrate the rebuilding of the City.
