NOTES: Built as a mansion in 1769, the facade and Grecian triumphal entrance with caryatids and quadriga were added to the front courtyard in 1881 by the artist and interior decorator Amedee Joubert, who used the premises as his showroom and workshop. In the 1940s and 1950s the building was home to the famous Pheasantry Club. The premises fell into disrepair in the 1970s and were subsequently completely redeveloped save the facade.
