NOTES: The Grote Kerk (St Bavo's) was built in the Gothic style between 1390 and 1550. The Waag, the municipal Weigh House, was built by Lieven de Key in 1597-1598 and remained in use for the weighing of goods brought in on the River Spaarne until 1915.
