Theatre and Civic Centre, Jyvaskyla, with the Police Station on the right

NOTES: The theatre is part of a complex of buildings by Aalto, including a police station and civic centre. Although the theatre was planned as early as 1964 before Aalto's death and the working drawings completed towards the end of his life, the final work and building construction were undertaken after his death. The Police Station was completed in 1970.
