NOTES: The exhibition, 'Thirties: British art and design before the war', was held at the Hayward Gallery from 25 October 1979 - 13 January 1980. The exhibition was designed by Neave Brown, assisted by Julian Feary. This was a reconstruction of a typical one room flat from the Isokon flats, Lawn Road, London, designed by Wells Coates.
