NOTES: Thomas Goode and Company was founded in 1827 as a retailer of fine bone china and porcelain, moving to South Audley Street in 1844. The premises was enlarged and re-built by Ernest George & Peto in 1876 and in 1889-1891. Mrs Goode was apparently responsible for the series of hand-painted panels featuring birds and the stained glass.
