NOTES: This installation was one of a series of architectural exhibitions held at the Basilica Palladiana. The architect had to consider how to exhibit in a way that would have significance for a non specialist audience. Ito's installation consisted of twenty full-height, luminous suspended columns formed from transparent perforated white fabric, and a huge concave semi-transparent screen displaying a succession of images of his architecture. The effect was likened to that of an aquarium.
