NOTES:
Burton began the construction of the Crescent in 1830 and the first three houses facing the sea on the east side, and seven facing the Crescent, were either fully or partially completed by 1834. Construction then stopped due to a recession and the design seen here was never completed. For the drawing on which this lithographic print was based see RIBA34650.
