Unexecuted design for the Coin Street Development, South Bank, Lambeth, London, for Greycoat Commercial Estates Ltd: elevation for part of an office building in a large commercial development

NOTES: This is a photograph of a drawing. The Coin Street Development was to take the form of a chain of office towers interconnected with glazed galleries for shopping. The scheme was also to provide housing and leisure facilities. The faliure of the development to get planning permission was hailed as an early triumph of the 'Community Architecture' movement.
