Notes NOTES: This print probably dates from the second half of the 19th century. The Wrekin was used for social and recreational pursuits at the weekends and during the summer months. Halfway up the hill was Wrekin cottage, also known as Halfway House or Upper Cottage, where people could put in their order for refreshments on the way up and it would be ready for them on the way down.
