SOURCE: Ferdinando Ongania. Calli e canali in Venezia (Venice, 1891), pl. 21 NOTES: The Libreria Sansoviniana was designed by Jacopo Sansovino and its first arcaded bays were constructed between 1537 to 1553. Following Sansovino's death, Vincenzo Scamozzi added five new bays which extended the building alongside the Zecca (Venice's mint - also designed by Sansovino).
