Winchester Cathedral: Cardinal Beaufort's Chantry in the retrochoir

Notes NOTES: Construction on the cathedral began in 1079 in Norman style. The retrochoir was constructed c.1200 in Early English style. The chantry of Cardinal Henry Beaufort (1404-47) was restored by Henry Charles, Duke of Beaufort, in 1819.
