The author of Surf Shack: Laid-Back Living by the Water, Nina Freudenberger, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design before launching a career in interior design. She is the founder of the boutique design firm Haus Interior.
