Rebuild your company culture at 66 Portland Place

With business life lived through a lens for almost 18 months, and with the majority of remaining COVID restrictions set to be lifted post 19 July, now is the time to get your team back together face to face in order to rebuild your company culture. Whether it’s a small scale management meeting or a larger company conference, our team are on hand to help you "build your own" meeting.

Our "build your own" meeting package – a subtle nod to our architectural roots – has been designed to simplify the organisation of a COVID-compliant face to face or hybrid event. We offer a range of food and beverage (F&B) options set at multiple price points to suit budget and taste, as well as a choice of fully equipped meeting rooms featuring Art Deco details and all the necessary AV facilities.

Located on an avenue known for its decadent Georgian architecture, the Grade II* listed 66 Portland Place has retained many of its original 1930s features to create an inspiring backdrop for meetings. As part of the "build your own" meeting package, you can choose from four architecturally stunning spaces – the Jarvis Hall, Aston Webb Room, Soane Room and Lutyens Room.

For larger meetings or conferences, our purpose built auditorium, the Jarvis Hall can accommodate up to 400 guests. With full AV capabilities and top quality acoustics, it’s perfect for AGMs, presentations, and seminars, and has the necessary technology in place to add a virtual element if required. The adjacent Foyer can be used for extra seating or as a catering space, or the Florence Hall can also be hired for catering or exhibition stands.

If you’ve got a mid-sized meeting in mind, the Lutyens Room, which is flooded with natural daylight, and still retains many original Art Deco features, can accommodate boardroom or theatre style meetings for up to 70.

For more intimate meetings, the Aston Webb Room can accommodate 22 guests. With walls lined with leather and joinery in Indian laurel wood, the room offers a stately, mid-century boardroom atmosphere for up to 22 guests. Alternatively, on the same floor is the Soane Room, a bright boardroom that overlooks the grand avenue of Portland Place and has capacity for up to 20.

If you’re ready to start planning your next face to face or hybrid team meeting, get in touch with our team who are on hand to discuss your requirements by emailing venues@riba.org. Find out more about the COVID-compliant protocols in place at 66 Portland Place.
