Design Day: Community Space, an architecture workshop for ages 11 to 15

In this creative architecture workshop (for children aged 11 to 15 years) participants will think creatively about social spaces and why they are created before using eco-friendly and recycled materials in a collaborative 3D design to problem solve and construct a community social space that brings people together.

About the Workshop

As we evolve, so do our social activities and the spaces we use. Thinking creatively about social spaces and why they are created and how they are used, participants will, using eco-friendly and recycled materials, explore collaborative 3D design to problem solve and construct a community social space that brings people together.

This creative architecture workshop is led by artist and educator Katie Kennedy for young people aged 11 to 15.

All workshops require you to drop off your child by 11am and pick up at 4pm. They are led by professional educators and all materials are included in the ticket price, but you should prepare a packed lunch for your child. Online booking in advance is essential.
