Design Day: Mission: Commission

Your mission: design and model a new architectural exhibition for RIBA. For ages 11 to 15.

Using Apparata’s installation as inspiration, be the commissioner and the architect in this workshop that invites you to create and respond to a brief for a new commission in a major London building.

In small groups, participants will create a brief for each other that outlines a new work to be commissioned. Individually participants will then design and make a maquette to fit the brief.

For ages 11 to 15.

With Daniel Wallis.

All workshops require you to drop off your child at 11am and pick up at 4pm. They are led by professional educators and all materials are included in the ticket price, but you should prepare a packed lunch for your child. Online booking essential.

This event is part of the Pablo Bronstein: Conservatism, or the Long Reign of Pseudo-Georgian Architecture exhibition.
