How can the construction industry dramatically reduce its consumption of natural resources? Re-using previously used materials and artefacts is the way forward, believes Duncan Baker-Brown, architect of the Waste House at the University of Brighton - a collection of experiments through which students learn by application how recycled materials can be used in construction. Duncan, who is also the author of The Re-Use Atlas: A Designer's Guide Towards the Circular Economy will look at inspirational projects and people around the world to set us all on the path of practical re-use.
The online talk will feature a presentation by Duncan Baker-Brown, followed by an open discussion.
