Entries will be exhibited at the Guildhall, Worcester, from 10am to 4:30pm, Saturday 25th August 2018, during the final weekend of the Worcester Festival. Admission is free.
Awards will be presented at a short ceremony at 2pm on the day.
Register online to confirm your attendance at the awards ceremony and bring your ticket with you to claim a free drink.
Entries will be assessed on the extent to which they demonstrate, in the opinion of the judges; fitness for purpose, elegance and imagination of the design, and the contribution made to the built environment or landscape setting.
The awards have been set up to recognise good architecture in Worcestershire, engage with the public and promote the value that using an architect can bring to the local environment. A jury consisting of architects and non-architects will judge the submissions.
Three judges will be appointed by the Worcestershire Society of Chartered Architects. The judges will include a representative of the local community, a practising architect, a professional involved in architectural education, and/ or others at the invitation and discretion of the Chair of the Worcestershire Society of Chartered Architects.
