SSA Autumn Lecture Series: Níall McLaughlin Architects in Practice

The first lecture of the 2019 Shropshire Society of Architects Lecture Series will feature Young British Architect of the Year 1998 Níall McLaughlin, of multi award winning and Stirling Prize shortlisted Níall McLaughlin Architects.

Join us for the first of our three part lecture series, featuring Níall McLaughlin of Níall McLaughlin Architects

Awarded Young British Architect of the Year in 1998, Níall McLaughlin established his practice Níall McLaughlin Architects in London in 1990. Since then, the practice has gone on to complete a number of high quality modern buildings with a special emphasis on inventive use of materials, the qualities of light and the relationship between the building and its surroundings. Their designs have won many awards in the UK, Ireland and the US and have been shortlisted for the Stirling Prize on three occasions.

This series is kindly sponsored by EH Smith Architectural Clays Products.

Anyone who wishes to join SSA members and guests for supper following the talks are very welcome to do so. This is a great opportunity to reflect on the content of the talk and have a chat with the speaker.

Tickets for this event will be sold on the door.
