Located on the seafront Spanish City remains one of Whitley Bay’s civic history. In its heyday Spanish City attracted thousands of people from across the UK until it fell into disrepair and eventually closed in the 1990s. ADP worked closely with North Tyneside Council, construction company, Robertson, and the new operator, Kymel, to sensitively restore Spanish City and secure the iconic building’s future. Following years of redevelopment work and a £10 million investment, Spanish City is now a leisure venue complete with new leisure facilities including family-friendly restaurants, fine dining, tearooms, event spaces and a champagne bar providing visitors the opportunity to enjoy and celebrate the venue. Visitors will also see the central rotunda and gallery space returned to its former glory.
We will take the metro from the Central Station departing at 8.00am heading to Monkseaton and then take a short walk to Spanish City.
All construction industry professionals welcome to attend.
