15 September 2021

We have received reports of suspicious emails being sent to members, purporting to be from someone working for the RIBA.

Please note that genuine emails from the RIBA team will only come from @riba.org email addresses.

Any other emails should be treated as malicious, and should be deleted immediately and not responded to in any way.

We are investigating this as a matter of urgency, however there is currently no evidence of a data breach.

The National Cyber Security Centre provides more information on dealing with suspicious emails and text messages.
