Our clients purchased a run-down HMO (house of multiple occupants) which was split into 10 bedsits with very dark, almost inhumane, living spaces. The brief was to re-transform the house into a single dwelling. We opened up the house, introducing as much light as possible to create a pleasant family home — in huge contrast to the house’s previous use.
