Create were approached to present ideas to RAF board members for a landmark building to commemorate 100 years of the RAF. A master-planning exercise frees up an area of land in a prominent location fronting the road. An iconic building in the shape of a propeller is proposed providing a central reception for the complete site, including various exhibition spaces and an Imax cinema. An alternative twisting aerofoil tower was also proposed. The chamfered top expresses the propellor form within the atrium and acts as a shining beacon for the RAF.
