A Victorian water pumping station which has been sensitively refurbished internally to provide a public art gallery and studio space for the Royal Academy of Arts, together with a restaurant shell within the old pump room. The existing basement has been extended to form a residents gymnasium and changing/sauna/spa facility for the adjacent St James' Homes 'New River Complex'.
