The scheme is an events centre, partially underground, new-build and is designed to hold 200 guests for a cultural weddings, trade exhibitions and close-knit musical venues. The building will be grass roofed, with a romantic-style facade, designed to limit direct sunlight onto guests as they enter. The building is a timber glulam structure with glazing to the front. The scheme is a highly sustainable building, comprising of underfloor heating, the potential of a bio-mass boiler and ground source heat pumps. The scheme will be annexed to Grooms Guest House, which already stands on the site.
