We are delighted to continue to host the RIBA + VitrA Talks.
This year sees the fifth year of the partnership between RIBA and VitrA curating and hosting high profile events and talks discussing and exploring key themes associated with architecture and the built environment.
Architecture's focus and definition are constantly shifting. As architects respond to challenges at a local and global scale, values are increasingly routed in the less tangible.
Throughout 2023, RIBA + VitrA will host a programme of talks inviting practitioners and a range of voices who are leading the way with new processes and practices that are redefining placemaking and the architectural profession.
The series will address the question "How does architecture manifest itself beyond the structural form?" It will explore how architects are creating spaces that enhance communities and improve urban life. You'll hear about projects that have an impact on how we work, live and play in different contexts including:
- designs that socially support communities
- embedding and developing cultural understanding
- creating spaces that enable meaningful experiences, which are inclusive and accessible to diverse needs
- building with environmental awareness
Forms of Exchange will present speakers who are stepping out of traditional practice to find solutions and new ways of working to initiate change through original and experimental methods. These talks will give an insight into how architects are responding to large scale challenges as well as creating an impact on a smaller, local scale both today and for the future.
RIBA + VitrA Talks is sponsored by VitrA Bathrooms.
