Qualifying with the RIBA overseas
Alongside the overseas Part 3 course we also offer other integral courses and services to help individuals, who are based or have studied overseas, develop professionally and qualify for RIBA membership, overseas.
RIBA Part 3 overseas
The overseas RIBA Part 3 course and examination has now become an established route to registration in the UK for suitably-qualified students in architectural practices in Asia, UAE and the USA.
The opportunity to qualify outside the UK has proved to be attractive to overseas employers who can now offer talented students a route to registration.
The course allows students to continue their professional development while working abroad and without having to return to the UK for either work experience or further study.

Portfolio Support Services for the ARB Prescribed Exams
The RIBA offer a short preparatory course for ARB prescribed exams to help individuals, with overseas architectural qualifications, prepare for the ARB Part 1 and 2 prescribed examinations.
In addition to this we also offer one-to-one individual tutorials/portfolio review sessions, at which applicants meet with a reviewer to go through their portfolio, in preparation for the ARB Prescribed Exams.
MEAP access course
The RIBA MEAP access course has been developed for international architects and graduates based overseas in meeting the criteria and is delivered in Oman, Dubai, Hong Kong and Shanghai. It is particularly suited to those with less than five years’ professional practical experience and who do not envisage working in the UK, but would like to become eligible to apply for RIBA Chartered Membership.
Please note that the MEAP route is only available to those based outside of the UK.
