RIBA has five exciting membership roles available across the South West that support and drive RIBA activity in specific areas. We have opportunities to put yourself forward as the Chair Elect of RIBA Bristol & Bath, RIBA Exeter, RIBA Cornwall, RIBA Somerset or RIBA Wiltshire. You need to be registered as a RIBA Chartered Member in the relevant branch area to apply.

As a membership organisation, the RIBA thrives through the activity of its members and staff teams and being involved can offer you the opportunity to grow your skills, networks, and personal development. Take a look at our short film to hear what RIBA members across the UK have taken from being involved.

All chair elect roles automatically progress to becoming the relevant branch chair from September 2020. The Branch Chair is a key leadership role, a two-year post that leads and represents the branch committee and membership. You will gain professional recognition and leadership skills. You will work with a committed and active team, influence and work with local stakeholders. You will make a difference.
