RIBA International Regions

28 February 2019

The RIBA’s vision is to be a "global professional membership body driving excellence in architecture". The International Regions’ role is to support our international members and overseas architectural communities which is crucial to achieving this vision.

We represent the interests of our international members through a dedicated platform of four International Regions: Americas, Middle East and Africa, Asia and Australasia, and Europe. The aim is to promote design excellence globally and build on expertise by sharing knowledge and to influence the framework in which architecture can flourish internationally.

The RIBA International Regions team was established in April 2018 to further support our global network of members, and deliver a programme of local activity across the four regions. The team work closely with Valeria Passetti, RIBA Vice President Membership and reports into Nations and Regions Committee. We also work closely with RIBA International Chapters and their representatives as well as international schools of architecture, sponsors, governmental bodies and other external in-country stakeholders.

We are working on an exciting programme of events for 2019 and look forward to engaging with our members across the globe. Contact us at
